Dr. Cohen-Silver is an Investigator with MAP Centre for Urban Health Solutions in the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute of St. Michael’s Hospital. She is also a staff pediatrician practicing in the Women and Children’s Health Program at St. Joseph’s Health Centre and St. Michael’s Hospital. Dr. Cohen-Silver is an assistant professor within the department of Paediatrics at the Temerty Faculty of Medicine, the research director of the Department of Paediatrics at St. Joseph’s Health Centre, and the medical lead for the Model Schools Pediatric Health Initiative at Unity Health Toronto.
Dr. Cohen-Silver's research focuses on paediatric social determinants of health screening and intervention, and school-based health services in disadvantaged communities.
