Dr. Ajiboye’s research seeks to understand the behavioral, biomedical, social and structural determinants of HIV in Black communities. He develops, adapts and tests strategies to reduce the rate of HIV infection in Black communities in Canada and promote health equity for this group.
Dr. Wale Ajiboye is an adjunct scientist at MAP Centre for Urban Health Solutions at St. Michael’s Hospital working with Dr. Sean Rourke. He is also an adjunct lecturer at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto. He holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree, a Master’s Degree and Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Pharmacy.
