Dr. Wanrudee Isaranuwatchai

Dr. Wanrudee Isaranuwatchai is a health economist. She collaborates with researchers and policy-makers in various areas to help demonstrate the value of health programs and initiatives using economic evidence.

Her research focuses on how to apply economic evaluation in the real-world setting as well as how to advance methods in economic evaluation. She is dedicated to promoting the use of evidence in healthcare decision making.

Dr. Isaranuwatchai is a scientist with MAP Centre for Urban Health Solutions in the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute of St. Michael’s Hospital, and director of the Centre for Excellence in Economic Analysis Research (CLEAR) at St. Michael’s Hospital. She is also an assistant professor in the University of Toronto’s Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation, and a senior health economist at the Canadian Centre for Applied Research in Cancer Control.
